Yamaha 2002 G19E 48 Volt Electric
The "Aircraft Tug" |
Description
- Dan, from Cheyenne Wyoming, has this to say about his new Utility Car that he purchased from Masek Golf Car Company.
- "I purchased this golf car in March 2011 for use at the airport in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The G19E really does a fantastic job pushing/pulling the Cessna T210 around the hanger and airport ramp. The 48V electric has no problems pushing and maneuvering the 3,800 lb aircraft. I am impressed on how slow the car will move which makes maneuvering in tight areas very easy. Mounting the hitch to the front required all of 15 minutes and a few bolts from the hardware store."
- "The buying experience was fantastic. I had an idea that a golf car would work well for moving an aircraft, but was unsure if it was well suited. My family and I stopped by one Saturday afternoon looking for information. Joe took a lot of time answering all of my questions concerning what my use for the car would be. He gave us a thorough run down of the differences between gas and electric cars , their strengths and limitations, and recommendations based on the specific mission. We also got a tour of the maintenance shop and the parts warehouse on the way to shop for specific units. The history of the Masek family and businesses was also interesting and gave us an ‘at home’ feeling. It was evident that the dealership would be around if service, parts, or advice is needed. Pricing was fantastic and the delivery was very specific on how to maintain the car, recommendations for top performance, and an invitation to call if any questions or concerns arise. I would recommend Masek for providing an ‘aircraft tug’ or any other golf car."
